Australian Camp Nepal trek is a fairly smooth trek in the stunning foothills of the Annapurna. The trip gives appropriate views of the Annapurna Mountain range including Annapurna South (7219m), Annapurna III(7575m), Annapurna IV(7535m), Machhapuchhre (6993m) as well as Hiunchuli(6441m) and so on.
The trek begins at Kande and ends at the Dhampus Phedi. The trek involves two hours of hiking uphill along with about one and a half hours of walking on a straight track. In addition, we descend from the village of Dhampus for about 2 hours. The terraces of rice fields, the feeling of fresh cool breeze as well as the proximity to the mountains make this trek an extraordinary one.
Additionally, Australian Camp Nepal is located at a place where there is a lot of rainfall during summer. This results in verdant green forests with lichen growing on the trunks. Moreover, there can be a problem with leeches while trekking through the forest. Although at the camp itself, there is no such problem. However, proper hiking boots and trousers will keep you safe from any harm.
