Best of Nepal Tour traverses through the hectic Kathmandu city, the wildlife of the Terai region, the tourist hub, Pokhara and the culturally enriched Ghandruk village. An opportunity to explore the livelihood of both urban and rural lives makes this tour very distinct from any other tour.

Welcomed by the historically and culturally filled UNESCO world heritage sites from the capital and embraced by the dense forest of Chitwan National Park makes our investment worthwhile. Pokhara, a city full of natural wonders, lakes and mesmerizing scenic landscapes is counted among the very best tourist destinations.

Apart from that, astounding vistas of Mountains follow us along the way from Komrong Dada to Ghorepani Hill. The enchanting view of the sunrise, the diverse culture and tradition of the Gurung community, and the lush vegetation and terraced farmland will provide us with a feeling of serenity.

  1. day 1

    Welcome to Nepal, transfer to Hotel.

    Trek Duration 3637 m

    You will meet our office representative at the airport who will pick you up in a cab and take you to your hotel. After freshening up, we will have a meeting where we will brief you about the tour. In the evening, we will have dinner at a Nepali restaurant.

  2. day 2

    Kathmandu Sightseeing

    After having breakfast, we start our guided tour of Kathmandu valley sightseeing. We will visit many of the cultural and natural Heritage Sites, including Swayambhunath, Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath, and Durbar Squares. These places are of vital historical and cultural significance.

    The Hindu temples and Buddhist stupas are sacred sites for Hindu and Buddhist devotees. Similarly, the durbar square areas represent the various kings and rulers throughout Nepal’s rich history. We will have lunch during the day along with dinner in the evening before returning to our hotel

  3. day 3

    Transfer to Chitwan & Rafting on the Trishuli River

    On the third day, we will be going towards Chitwan. However, we’ll also participate in the Trishuli River Rafting on the way. The Rafting begins at Charaundi after a three hours drive from Kathmandu.

    After we arrive, we walk towards the bank of the Trishuli River. There, we will be given some rafting gear like helmets and life jackets along with other safety equipment. After a short briefing, we march towards the water. We take a few practice sessions and then go along the rapid currents of the river.

    We wrap up our day trip after completing the rafting journey at Phisling. Then we head towards Chitwan, which is a 2.5 hours drive. We’ll drive through hills and valleys with the scenery of the Himalayas. After we reach there, we will get to our hotel or resort.

  4. day 4

    Chitwan National Park Safari (Explore Chitwan)

    The fourth day is dedicated entirely to the Chitwan National Park. We will discover the most popular national park in Nepal which is home to some of the unique and endangered species of the world. The national park is home to creatures like one-horn rhinos, wild bison, leopards, tigers, butterflies and some 500 species of birds.

    We will participate in the Elephant safari or Jeep Safari, Jungle walking, Bird watching, Canoe ride & elephant bathing. We’ll also see some rare species of crocodiles in the river. Moreover, we’ll visit the Government Elephant Breeding Centre where there are several elephants kept for breeding.

    After completing these activities we return back to our hotel/resort. In the evening we will walk around the Tharu Village nearby. Then we will enjoy a sunset in the Rapti River before returning to our hotel. Also, we will explore more of the Tharu culture as well as watch their tribal dance

  5. day 5

    Transfer to Pokhara

    After having breakfast at the hotel, we will now head towards Pokhara. We will take a deluxe bus to Pokhara, which will take about 6 to 7 hours. Upon reaching Pokhara, we will be received by a private vehicle and dropped off at our hotel.

    Later, we will take a short boat ride around Fewa Lake. Alternatively, we can also reach Pokhara via flight.

  6. day 6

    Pokhara Day tour

    On the sixth day, we will be visiting the hill of Sarangkot to see the beautiful sunrise. Thus, we start early at 5:00 am when we head towards Sarangkot. After a half an hour ride, we will reach there. We will see the sunrise along with some magnificent views of Machhapuchhre, Himchuli, Dhaulagiri, and the Annapurna range.

    After spending a couple of hours there, we will get back to our hotel to get our breakfast. After some rest, we will begin sightseeing around Pokhara valley. We will visit several sites like the Barahi Temple, Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake, Mahendra Cave, and Mountain Museum, World Peace Pagoda, among others. We spend the night at our hotel.

  7. day 7

    Pokhara to Komrong Dada

    On this day, we travel towards the north of Pokhara. We get on a private off-road vehicle to go through Naudanda, Kande, Nayapul and Chimrong until we reach Ghandruk. It is about a 3-hour drive from Pokhara to Ghandruk.

    There, we take a rest and have some lunch. We will then travel around the Gurung village and also visit a famous museum there. Now, we will begin our trek to Komrong Dada. We trek for one and a half hours as we trail through a rural path with the beautiful scenery of the Himalayas in the distance.

    The hill of Komrong Danda boasts a 360-degree view of lush vegetation and glorious mountains. We spend the night in Komrong Danda.

  8. day 8

    Komrong Dada to Dobato

    After having breakfast, we begin our trekking further north. Today, our destination will be Dobato. We’ll hike through ridges and forests with a continuous view of the mountains.

    We’ll walk through the beautiful trail for 7 hours until we reach Dobato. We’ll spend the night there.

  9. day 9

    Dobato (Muldai) to Ghorepani (Poonhill)

    We’ll get up early in the morning to trek to Muldai to see the sunrise. Muldai is situated at a height of 3637 meters. Along with the sunrise, we’ll also see some magnificent views of Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, Ganesh Himal and the Annapurna Range.

    We then have breakfast and begin our hiking. Our destination is Ghorepani. We hike for 6 hours before reaching Ghorepani, where we spend the night.

  10. day 10

    Trek from Ghorepani to Nayapul and Drive to Pokhara

    On this day, we have the option to travel to Poonhill to see the sunrise. If we do not wish to go there, we will have breakfast and set off towards Pokhara. We trek south for about 6 hours until we reach Nayapul.

    There, we get in our private vehicle which will bring us back to Pokhara in an hour. In the evening we will have a farewell dinner at a Nepali Restaurant.

  11. day 11

    Transfer to Kathmandu from Pokhara

    On the eleventh day, we drive back towards Kathmandu. After having breakfast, we get on our bus and start our journey. We will have lunch on the way and spend the night at the hotel.

  12. day 12

    Transfer to the airport for departure

    Our representative will take you to the airport for your final departure.

Depending on the season you wish to go trekking you may have to make adjustments to clothing and equipment however these are the necessities list we prepared to keep your comfort and utility in mind. We never recommend our clients bring over equipment which is not necessary for the trek.
