Less Crowded Treks in Nepal(2024 )

Nepal is renowned worldwide as a trekker's paradise, with famous routes like the Annapurna Circuit and Everest Base Camp attracting thousands of visitors each year. However, beyond these iconic trails lie many less-traveled trekking options that provide opportunities to experience the country's stunning mountain scenery and rich cultures away from the crowds. Some of them are:

The Kajin Sara Trek is a less crowded trekking adventure through Nepal's Manang district. The Kajin Sara Lake at an altitude of 5,002 m was recently discovered in 2019. So, the journey to the highest glacial lake in the world is still isolated.

It starts with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Besishar via public bus and Besisahar to Chame by Jeep. The journey from Pokhara to Chame is also common for Annapurna Circuit Trek. From Chame we start trekking through pine forests, challenging terrain with limited water resources, breathtaking cliff views, and the heart-shaped Love Lake. The highlight is reaching the remote, pristine Kajin Sara Lake surrounded by rocks and snowy peaks, offering otherworldly views of mountains like Lamjung Himal and Koto Peak. Perfect for experienced hikers who prefer camping over tea houses on one of Nepal's most isolated trail.
