Mardi Himal Trek Altitude and Distance for 4 Days Itinerary:

The 4-day trek to Mardi Himal is intended for pro-trekkers. You will cover 13.74 km from Kande to Forest Camp at the altitude of 2,500 m in a single day gaining an altitude of 1,678 m. On the second day, you will cover about 7.62 km of distance from Forest Camp to High Camp with an altitude gain of 1,050 m. Third day, you will reach MBC walking 3.73 km.

Mardi Base Camp altitude is 4,200 m, and descends down to Badal Dada altitude of 3,210 m. Final day of Mardi Himal Trek is straight downhill to Pokhara from Badal Dada passing through Lumre (1,350 m.) covering a distance of 12.87 km with an altitude loss of 2,388 m.

5 Days Mardi Himal Trek Altitude and Distance:

5-days Mardi Base Camp is suitable for new trekkers and experienced trekkers. You will drive from Pokhara (822 m) to Kande and start your trek. On the first day, you will cover a distance of 5.53 km from Kande to Pritam Deurali (2,150 m). On the second day from Pritam Deurali to Low camp, you will cover 11.73 km with an altitude gain of 450 m. On the third day, you will cover 4.15 km from Low Camp to High Camp.

Mardi high camp altitude is 3,550 m. or 11,646.98 ft. On the fourth day, you will walk 3.73 km to reach Mardi Base Camp which has an altitude of 4,200 m. Overnight stay at Badal Dada (3,210 m.) On the final day, you will trek downhill to Pokhara walking through Lumre which is at an altitude of 1,350 m. You will cover 14.13 km while walking up to Lumre with an elevation loss of 2,388 m. from Badal Dada.

7 Days Mardi Himal Trek Distance & Altitude:

Above is the elevation chart of 7-days Mardi Base Camp, most beginner friendly. Trek starts with a drive from Pokhara to Kande. On the first day, we will reach Australian Base Camp (2060 m) covering 2.3 km from Kande. On the 2nd day, we will cover the 11.47 km distance from Australian Base Camp to Forest Camp at the altitude of 2,500 m. with an altitude gain of 440 m.

On day 3, we will cover about 7.48 km from Forest Camp to High Camp with the altitude gain of 1,050 m. This walk also acts as an acclimatization walk to the base camp. Fourth day, you will ascend to Mardi Base Camp which has an altitude of 4,200 m. You will walk 3.75 km from High Camp to MBC. Then return to Badal Dada which has an altitude of 3,210 m. On the 5th day, downhill trek starts up to Kalimati (1,809 m) covering 9.20 km. On the 6th day of Mardi Trek, we will walk from Kalimati to Lwang Village (1,460 m) covering 5.16 km. Last day of our trek ends by walking from Lwang to Lumre and then drive to Pokhara by car covering 24.10 km.
